What is in home pet sitting? |
We stay in your home while you are away, living there as you would (cooking, cleaning, laundry, relaxing, etc.), while maintaining a responsible and respectful lifestyle. This live-in service provides extra security and care for both your pets and home, maintains your pets' routine, and provides them with the attention, love and care they deserve! See our Home page for a list of benefits to using in-home pet sitting services.
|
What are stop ins? |
Alternatively, we offer stop ins (rather than live-in) for pets. Stop ins are approx. either 30 minutes, or 60 minutes in length, during which we will provide your pet with all the love and care they require (feeding, letting outside, walks, cleaning litter box, snuggling etc.).

Where do you sleep?
|
One of us will stay in your home wherever you feel comfortable, in the bed that you designate for us. We will use common staple items (ie: spices and condiments) but will provide all of our own food.
|
Will anyone else stay in the house? |
We will treat your home as our home, while respecting the fact that it is not. We will never have more than 3 people in the home at one time, and it is never a "sleepover" situation.

What kind of clean up does the pet sitter do? |
We expect the house to be clean upon our arrival (including clean bedding), and we will leave the home in a state that is as clean, if not a cleaner, than when we arrived.
|
Will we get updated while we're away? |
Whether we're walking, stopping in or providing our live in service, we always update the owner on how their pets are doing! We can provide you with phone calls, emails or text message updates while you're away so you're always in the loop and feeling comfortable leaving your pets.
|
There are no open pack walks, do I pay more? |
The lone wolf service is intended for dogs who do not like to walk with other dogs, and must be walked alone. In the case that there are no available pack walks and your dog is comforatble with other dogs, then your dog would start a new pack walk on the calendar. Our dog Bijou always comes along for the pack walks so your dog will always have at least 1 additional friend. :)

Are you bonded and insured? |
Yes, as part of our insurance policy with PROfur Insurance Pet Care Professionals, we have a company blanket bond, meaning that all of our pet sitters are insured and bonded under our policy.
|
Do you shovel snow, mow the lawn and pick up dog waste? |
Keeping a tidy walk and yard (shoveling, de-icing, lawn maintenance, pet waste removal, etc.) are not only legal requirements of a home-owner, but also part of our services. We will complete all of the necessary tasks to ensure that your property is kept safe, clean and well-maintained, inside and out!
|
Do you administer medication? |
Yes, one of the benefits of using an in home pet sitter is that we will administer any medications to your pets. In the my alliance section there is a place to enter medication information regarding your pets needs.
